Hey guys
I got a friend that has an ATI 8 pound setup on his 355. I was looking at it today and noticed that he had what looks like oil inside his intercooler. It's seeping through the bottom part of it. I do not have any supercharging experience and thought you guys would know what the problem is. I do know that the car was flooded out about 6 months ago. He ran the car threw high water and it stalled out. I told him that he sucked water through the blower and the seals/bearing were most likely rusted and that the oil that lubes the blower was leaking into the intercooler. It's just a guess. I have never put one on a car so it could be something else. He did have the motor rebuild after the flood out. He said the shop told him their was water in the cylinders. He did not touch the blower though. What do you guys think it could be?? It runs fine besides this. Any idea on the price of a rebuild if it is the blower??
Thanks
Jeff D.
