What tire pressure for ET DRAGS?Mr. T's Z 04-07-2003, 10:32 PM I know you guys probably get this a lot. What tire pressure should my buddy in his 02 WS6 set the Micke Thompson ET DRAGS at for running? Thanks in advance... Tyler rskrause 04-08-2003, 06:20 AM I found that with 11.50x16 ET Streets (same compound as the full slick) that 12-13psi gave the best 60'. It got a little squirrley at the big end with that pressure though. Rich Krause Derrick Redd 04-08-2003, 07:32 AM I run mine at 15psi. :D Pro Stock John 04-08-2003, 09:35 AM I like 15psi. 11-12psi will make the car feel like it's swaying back and forth at the top end of the track. Frank95z 04-08-2003, 09:44 AM The correct tire pressure is the most air pressure that you can put in the tire and not spin. I run 1.49 shortimes with 22#s. Less is not always better. Frank95z Pro Stock John 04-08-2003, 09:53 AM Frank at your track, NPR, I could probably go 20psi or more too, it's the best hooking track I have ever experienced, but up here 15psi is what I need to hit 1.4's. Frank95z 04-08-2003, 11:34 AM The good news is that I can run 22# at No Problem,Baton Rouge, and Louisiana Raceway. Got to love the prep. I wonder if NPR is faster than that Texas track. :D Frank95z | ||
