Sound system idea. Is this do-able?

Okay, I have a 96 TA. I want to add a little punch to my stock system. I currently have the 200 watt 8 speaker system w/ the rear CD changer, tape deck, and steering wheel controls. Here is what i have in mind.

Move the diskchanger to the middle glove box. If it doesn't fit buy an aftermarket and use that. Put a 10/12 sub in the back left corner panel, use the stealth box. Put the amp where my spare tire used to be. Here the trouble spot.... I want to keep my steering wheel controls functional. If I change the deck is this possible? I don't know much about car audio, but I'm pretty sure I can use the factory deck w/ the sub and such. I would really like to get a new head unit though. What are my options? Any input is appreciatied!

Thanks,

Mike :D

Very do-able, but you'll need some converters go read^^^.
You'll have more luck getting the changer in the other glove box. It will need to be a custom fiberglass/MDF job more than likely.

Thanks for your help! I will check it out ASAP. I noticed one of you sell stealth boxes for 2 bills. Does that include shipping?

Thanks again,

Nope he's talking about my used boxes for 12" with 1.0 cu ft volume. Much easier to run a W3V2 or Type-R when you have the correct volume.

I reread your post. You'll get the biggest increase in listening pleasure from adding a new head unit and a sub/amp combo. Might as well get the head unit if you're just gonna have to spend nearly $100 on a converter anyway. Post up with anymore questions.
