That picture sure looks bad. I hope it looks better in real life.

I'm going to have to start looking at those since I cracked my freakin' dash pad...

I have one in my car.It is not that exact one,but they do look pretty good.Mine is a medium charcol grey and goes with the interior pretty well.Had it for about 3 years and it still loks new.
Can't remember were I got it though.

I've got one in my car and the whole reason I bought it was to cut down on the glare. I don't exactly love it but it's better than getting blinded by the sun.

Do either of you guys happen to have a pic of your dashmats?

My suggestion is a new dash and a good pair of shades. When it's hot, and I can hardly wait, roll down the windows and off with the t-tops.:D

wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a Velour Dashmat than a new dash pad (crash pad) whatever its called.

http://www.chevrolet-parts-dealer.com/ has the crash pad priced at $70 + shipping

the Velour Dashmat is $40 + shipping

unless you can buy a dash or crash pad somewhere else cheaper

I will refrain from using any negative smilies here...but I will say I'm just not a big fan of the dashmats. If you ask me...they go real well with tassles hanging down and some nice 'chi-chi' music.

:barf: (sorry...I tried to hold it...)

Well, that pretty much settles it for me. It just doesn't fit like it should. At least what I think it should...perfect!

I went ahead and took the plunge and bought a new dash pad from Jason Cromer at Sam Taylor Buick in FL.

Two dealers here in San Diego wanted $173 for that thing! I just ordered it from Jason for $91. More than twice the cost of a dash mat, but...well, you know...

Thanks for the thought. I already ordered it though. Oh well... I'm not too much into carbon fiber anyway.

So my gauge mod ended up costing me almost $200! Damn!
