ucrazymonkey 04-06-2003, 09:08 PM After the rain vanished we got to go on with the 2003 LS1-LT1 Spring Break Shoot-Out. Saw a few cars running 9.60-9.90. Really humid out and the track crew did an awsome job getting the track back in running condition. Anyways to the reason for the post. Made it to the Finals for the Target E.T. Brackets. We both broke out. I did by .084 and he did by .068. One of the closer races and very exciting. I'll take Runner-Up! Money and a trophy/plaque! Sunburned but well worth it.
Bloodztone 04-06-2003, 09:30 PM Congrats Nathan. I really would have liked to have been there but unfortunately as usual I didn't have a car. Any pics of your stash???
ucrazymonkey 04-06-2003, 09:46 PM Sure, email me at ucrazymonkey@cs.com and I will send the pics of my stash back at ya.
what did Jay Johnson run?
ucrazymonkey 04-06-2003, 10:33 PM I remember seeing him since he had his name on the window, but im not too sure. Alot of those guys were running 9.60-10.50 out there.
There are about 25 pics up on LS1TECH.com right now. Somehow my car loved being in the photos. I think there is about 5 of the 25 pics of my car up there. If you look at the big blow up ones mine is the TA coming down in the return line with the blue C5 Vette. That was my first victim.
Round 1- Won. Double Break-out, Off Dial -0.0066
Round 2- Won. Off Dial 0.0226
Round 3- Won. Won by Red Light, off Dial -0.0289
Round 4- Won. Off Dial 0.2835 (the other guy was off by .4 so I had to coast.)
Round 5-Lost. Double Break-Out, Off Dial -0.0841 to his -0.0688
Had alot of fun, and the money for Runner-Up was nice.

ucrazymonkey 04-06-2003, 11:10 PM Please, in less than a month you'll be driving a pick-up asking me for directions to the track dsince you will forget where it is at. Anyways make sure its a V8, I will need someone to tow my car to the races!

Thumpy 04-07-2003, 11:42 AM Congrats on the runner up! It was nice just to make a couple of shake down passes in my car. The motor had only been in the car and running for 4 days. Still have a lot left to do, but it ran a 12.6 @ 107 shifting at 6000. Sure feels different with an automatic now.
Jeff
