HPP3 VIN mismatch...how to get it back to stock...sleeperZragtop 04-04-2003, 11:10 PM ..with the original VIN. I got a hold of a HPP3 today to sell for a friend but I tested it and it has not been put back ot stock. Is there anyway to return the HPP3 back to stock without the original VIN. Or am I SOL...thanks Dr.Mudge 04-05-2003, 01:51 AM I dont know of anyone who can do it with OBD II stuff, unless you knew a GM tech who does computer work. Have you asked any of the PCM repair people? The OBD II gear required to program the VIN was prohibitively expensive for the little "sales" that could be made off of repairs, from what I heard, which is why nobody at the time really had it. | ||
