Who has the highest mileage?

Just as the post indicates, I want to see who has the highest mileage before a rebuild. Hopefully this will show me how reliable these engines are. Thanks!

Right now I am at 165xxx and im at around 300 hp with some mods.... Im planning a rebuild pretty soon, actually Im going to stroke it (383) and that is considered a rebuild with all the new parts such as crankshaft and pistons and rods and such.

I'm sitting at 209000 miles now, and I'm contemplating a 383 rebuild. But it just has minor aches and pains right now, so we'll see.

Wow

Wow, 209K, I am impressed. I am sitting at 145K and I was starting to get worried. Now, I know with proper maintenance I can still get some miles out of ol' car. Who say’s Chevy’s can’t last.

I am getting a 95 with 100k on it next week. The guy that owned it has a Pit in his garage, and took great care of it. It looks as nice a the day he drove it home. It has had most of the parts that go bad replaced in the last year. It has a Flowmaster 3" cat back on it, opened air box, MSD and a Jet chip in it.

PS this is my first post, and have been reading all I can so when I get the car I can realy enjoy it.

I'm around 208,000 on my '94 z28. Hot Cam & kit installed after 195,000. Runs super, no oil consumption (use Castrol GT 20-50, change every 3000 miles), and no major repairs. Planning to add 100 shot this summer (NX wet). Bought car new in April,1994. If taken care of, will last seemingly forever. Plan to go w/ 383 LT1 when this one goes. While I do race it, I don't run it hard all the time. LONG LIVE THE LT1 !!!!!!!

I have to ask....

Do you think your car will survive a nitrous shot at 208000 miles? I'm just curious.

The person that does my engine work (he's also a certified mechanic, builds his own car, and races in IHRA super gas class) believes it'll work as long as I don't overdo it (like spray on every run!). No doubt it will accelerate me to a rebuild quicker, but should be a fun trip! On the other hand, the engine may go on the first spray. Plan to install all the "safety" electronics w/ the NX set-up as a precaution. We shall see......

I take it some of you automatic guys haven't gotten a rebuild yet? If not, good grief... I hope my trans will last that long before its . The 4L60 gets ragged on all the time about being a hunk of ****, maybe it isn't afterall.

Mine's still a baby at 78K!!!

I don't even have the highest mileage among the 95 Z28's in my immediate family!

97,500 on my Cyclamen Metallic(and looks new)

110,000 on my sister's red 95 T-top car.
