Question headers, worth it???

okay,
I just bought a (94-95 style) Borla cat back for my 97 WS6. I plan on running (94-95 style) single cat headers and an offroad pipe. Now my question is, is it worth it to ceramic coat headers? I was thinking of getting MACS w/ off-road pipe and o2 sims and getting LOKO coating. The total for this would be approx $700. I don't want long tubes and I don't want to custom fab anything. Would this set-up be any good? I've heard that the MACS have excellent plug access, is that true? Also, is it worth it to get the y-pipe caoted? Thanks in advance, this newbie needs some advice!

It's definetly worth it to get the headers and y pipe coated. I've had mine for little over a year and there is already a good amount of rust on them. Don't know to much about the mac's my hooker's aren't too bad as far as plug access.

If you're going with MACs, you might as well go with AS&Ms I think....they are a great mid length and already are ceramic coated. Most people will say go with ceramic coated, as they won't rust that way......

Headers are more like needed. Especially if you plan on going any faster.
