I'd like it better if the front "horns" came to the tip of the hood. They seem stubby for that big of hood.

First time I've seen that hood.

The ZL1 hood is much better IMO. The scoop is too tall and boxy looking for a sleek car like a 4th gen.

Do they make a ZL1-style hood for 93-97s?

maybe the factory does,... if you come to see it.. the zl1 hood is for 93-97 that was just implanted in the 98+ clip... it doesnt have the rounded portions on the headlights

I like the idea but the hood should be longer to the nose and a little wider like the Harwood ss hood

I emailed the guy who has those on ebay - we replied back and forth a little bit. If you read the thread linked above you'll hear a little bit about his work - and from his emails he seems like a really cool guy. He was thinking of posting on the forums for ideas for hoods. His comment to me was that he liked the "zl2" but didnt. He liked the "SS" but didnt... mainly because the sides of the hood are flat and blank compared to the stocker that has atleast some depth to it from the fake vents...

But he said if people from the forums had some interest in a new design they photoshopped together he'd try to make a prototype. Seems like a cool enough guy to me!

But this hood could be better if the "horns" went farther foreward (but not the scoop itself, I dislike the "ultra-z" hood with a passion)
