Windshield Defrost Vent Fins

The dash defrost vent fins on my 94 Z28 vert. have all been broken off over the years ????(I bought it that way.) What is the best way to repair or cover? I don't drive the car during cold or inclement weather so do not need the vent. I have considered a dash mat but it appears the mat is cut open for the vent.

Thanks

Re: Windshield Defrost Vent Fins

Some people wrap the dash in vinyl and use spray adhesive. I'd personally just replace the dash, but it's an expensive piece.
