Why have i never seen these wheels on a Camaro/TA? Pugen12en photochop???

The Magnesium wheels that were offered with the corvettes.

I think they kinda retain a little ZR1 look to them.

Im thinking of buying a set of 18's then having them chromed(yes i know their expensive)

But i think it would be original and look great as well.

Also i need the help of the photoshop king if at all possible.

Could you maybe Put some 18" magnesium wheels on a black SS or Z28? I dont know if you can make them chrome or not(im not familiar with photshop)

But i just kinda want the feel of what they will look like.

Thanks!

I've absolutely LOVED the look of the Corvette magnesium wheels forever!!! UNFORTUNATELY I looked for MONTHS to find a pair at a reasonable(?) price but not until I laid down the $$$$$$ for these SS 10-spokes I have on the Z now did I find a perfect set for $800!!! I wanted to CRY!!!! Just my luck..... a day late and a dollar short AGAIN!

EXCELLENT taste in wheels!

I know what you mean. I think they look awesome and they are definently not a common thing especially on f-bods.

They kinda have that ZR1'ish style but they are 18's and lighter.

I just think they'd look great on the car and glad im not the only one who feels that way. But hopefully i will be the first to have em

I almost didnt wanna give anyone the idea but i need someone to photoshop it so i can make sure i like it.

My mind is drawing a blank. I can not remember which wheels you are talking about. Can you post a pic of these Magnesium wheels? Thanks

Wow I remember those now. I have not seen them on a Vette in a looong time. And I have never seen them on an F-bod. They do look sweet. On a darker color car like black...man they'd look wild. On a pewter color they be pretty bad azz too.

Wink

I like! Are you sure they come in 18's? If so what width 18x? I have been looking for some rims that look like my 17 SS rims for a while. I love the look of my rims but think they would look better in 18's Last question: how much are they?

Well thats what i was thinking. Their kinda like an 18" ZR1.

But its my idea so back off

Seriously though. They come in 18X9.5 and 18X11or 10.5? They are made out of magnesium so they will be lighter than even your 17" ss rims.

But the price brand new i usually find them for like $550-$575 per wheel.

Plus after that i wanna dip em in chrome so thats even more money.

The problem with finding these rims is that they are rather rare. I think they were only offered in 98-00 and were a $1800 option. That said, those you bought them are smart enough to hold on to them.

good luck, Adam

If you want to dip them too, you are looking at a pricey set of rims there. There are tons of rims out there that are under the $2500 mark, 18" and already come in chrome. Shoot you could get chrome Z06's with tires for under $1700.

The good thing is if you have that much to spend, you have lots of options.

Well truth be known. I found a wrecked C5 with these rims on it. ANd the guy that has the car thinks they are just like satin or painted rims So if he can hold off on them im gonna get em. Luckily its a very small yard so im very hopefull that they will be there. <---I need a job before i buy any other mods.
