Lightbulb painted rims

i painted my friends WS6 rims black this past summer, i sanded them down, primmed em and painted em, so far so good, not too bad just tape off the lip and it comes out alright, not bad for only a few bucks, so far after about 6 months they still shine and are holding up pretty well
ill try to find some pics

Go with powder coating it washes easy and doesnt feel like paint and looks like it was suppose to be there if you takes wheels off every now and then its a good idea to do powdercoat cuz they wont chip from removal of lugnuts. I had painted my 97 Formula ones black and now they are powdercoated blue

If you can afford the time & money to have them powdercoated, do it. If not, just do like dunkchamp said. That's what I did, and I haven't had any problems for the last year. I painted mine this time last year. Here is a pic:

Nice job on the wheels that looks real nice. The powder coating for me was 50.00 a wheel and that was for a candy color Ill throw some pics on here when I get them.
