Re: what kind of

that is a really nice blue, it might be just a Factory GM Navy Blue Metalic in some weird light but it looks a little more brigher or purple than that. A good way to get a better idea would be to print it out and take it to a paint shop.

Re: what kind of

I think the lighting is not good and making the paint appear darker. You'd have to do a custom paint if you want that exact color.

Re: what kind of

The blue on that 5th post is photoshoped.... You could probably find something close to it if you tried hard enough but those photos are very obiously photoshopped.

Re: what kind of

Every single one of those look like a black Camaro with a color, overlay, or hard light layer of blue on top in photoshop. In other words, it's not a real color. A similar look could be achieved in real life with candy paint but you'd need to start off with a silver base coat probably and not black.

Re: what kind of

Well, I'm a graphic designer, and I like to change the color of cars sometimes, so that's mostly what it was due to.

The biggest thing that screams photoshopped is that everything reflecting in the paint is blue. On a regular car, the grass would be reflecting green and the clouds reflecting white. It's very difficult to change the color of something and make it look realistic when it: 1) reflects, 2) is white or another light color and made darker, 3) it's black or another dark color and made lighter
