What do you think of these new smoked turn signals? (which is better?)

I'm thinking of getting some smoked turn signals for my White Z. However, I can't decided between these two that I've found:

eBay Item #1

- OR -

eBay Item #2

What would look better on a 2001 Z? I haven't seen the first one on anyone's car yet, so I don't know how it would look.

Thanks!

On a light coloured car, I'd personally go with the second option. I think the darker ones, especially with the little orange lens would look out of place on a white car.

I'd pick the second ones. The first ones are less likely to get you harassed by the police since they have reflectors in the corners though.

The first set meet DOT standards, because they have the reflector build in.. Second set does not....

Personnally I like the second set, but you should check with your State laws to see if the reflector is required in your state...

Usually if you put a bulb in that will illuminate orange, it should be ok. It won't draw attention like the people who put green/blue/clear bulbs in.

My Z is white as well. I'm trying to go for a "Black/White" type of theme, and I don't know if the orange would throw it off, or make it look good - to help kind of set it off a bit. Lots of people either have smoke, light covers, or VHT (I think that's what it is). I know the orange would make it stand out a bit different, but I'm not sure if it would be a good way.

I ended up getting these ones:

In the 2nd pic I posted, you could see some metal inside, or where the screws go. I didn't know how it would show on the car, so I got the posted instead.

I'll post pics once I put them on.

$33.00 plus $14.95 for shipping = $48.
My g.f just called and said they were delivered today, so no pics yet.

They should look good.. I just hate how e-bay sellers take advantage on the shipping charges..

Well, I got them, and opened the box.
They are a mix of eBay auction number one, and the ones I bought.

They look like the ones I bought, but have a clear reflector on the side (not yellow). I'll put them on the car and if I don't like them, I'll send them back as it is not what I ordered.

I'll take pictures this weekend to show you what they look like.
