Vortex headlight kit, anyone have em?

I have the kit. You are correct, the price on E-Bay for $150.00 is a rip off. I bought mine from a friend who got them on E-bay. I paid $75.00 since he was hurting for $. I like them. More for looks than anything, although they do a fairly good job lighting up the road at night.

You first have to remove all 4 headlights completly. Save them. You are right, the instructions suck! I measured and found the center of the plastic piece above where the old lights were mounted. I took one of the new lights and held it in place where I wanted it mounted. Drill a 1/4" hole in the plastic piece. Buy 4 1/4"-20 X 3/4" stainless bolts with nuts and lock washers. Splice the new lights into the existing harness. Bolt them in.
I then aligned the lights at night using my garage door as a guide.
Let me know how they work out for you.
Good luck,
Fred
