Tire/Rim question

Does anyone have any pics of a 275 on an 8 inch rim other than a kuhmo tire (they seem to be not as wide as most tires) I am debating on whether to get 275's for the back or not, I just saw someone selling some 18x8's with 275's in the back and it didn't really look any different than if 245's were on their, but they were kuhmo tires....

All manufacturers recommend that you use at least a 9" wide rim for a 275/35-18 tire. The section width on this size ranges from 10.7" (Michelin) to 11.2" (Continental, Bridgestone) and the Kumhos are 11.1" for the ECSTA MX and 11.0" for the ECSTA Supra 712.

For a 17" rim using a 275/40-17, everyone except Dunlop requires 9" minimum width. Dunlop will accept 8.5". Again, section widths range from 10.9" to 11.1", and the Kumho's are 11.0"

Yea, I know that pretty much everyone suggests a 9 inch wheel, but if you have a chance take at look at this persons site:

http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/darcwun

He is running 275-35-18's in the back on an 18x8 wheel...same wheels I have except I have the 17's...I don't see any signs of the tire bulging or not fitting properly....

The tires I am looking at are the firehawk SZ50's, so I am not sure how they compare to the Kuhmos for section width, but for some reaosn the Kuhmos have looked smaller than any tire I have ever owned even though the section width is high...
