I found a guy selling an OEM SS hood for 96-97 SS camaros. Now he's asking 375 for just the hood and claims it to be in excellent shape no cracks, chips..etc. I was going to offer him 350 since I have to travel 1hr to pick it up..do you guys think it's a good deal?? also you think the RK sport 1093371 would fit if they still make it??

OEM SS hood for $375...assuming it is in good condition- yeah its a good deal.

$375 sounds good to me, if I ever sold mine I'd be askin $600 minimum.

Well guys I got the SS Hood but it apears to me that it isn't a factory one IMO, It does have sort of a number S-600 molded on the fiberglass. I only paid 350 it's seems well made no signs of cracking a few minor scratches here and there. My brother does paint and body work and said he can paint it and have it ready and lookin good in no time..

Ya I found mine for 300 and it turned out ok. It doesn't fit quite perfect, but thats what I get for not going OEM. Overall I am happy with it and its definitely better than the stock hood.

well right now I just have it hand tight, I made a few adj. to the hood brackets, on the drivers side it sits flush on the passernger side it lifts up on the corner, again this it with no adj. What issues did you have with your hood?
