T tops, TA shifter, white gauges, and MOAR!

Finally got around to take some pics of my car and some of the mods I have done in the past few months. I did a t top conversion, installed white face gauges, replaced the HVAC and headlight controls with 94+ ones (the 93s are yellow) and installed a TA shifter with finger grips. You can also see my shortened antenna as well.

I still have a few switches to convert to the 94+, and I also still have to put in a new headliner. I need to find a new shifter indicator as well, I would like a white face one. Anyone know where I can get one?

I'll post pics of the gauges tonight when it gets dark

T-top conversion looks very nice, it gets easier after the first cut don't it. Hard to cut up a car you like that much. Anyone can buy the car they want, it takes a lot of work and skill to make the car you want. Nice work.

Awesome job!

I have the shift plate from my T56 swap. I think I may even have a turn signal lever as well. PM me an offer.

Thanks man, it was my first time doing any kind of real body work, and I think it turned out pretty decent. Its not perfect, but you really cant tell unless you are looking for the imperfections.

Well I am going to try and find a white face shift plate first, if I cant find one I'll shoot you an email.

How hard is it to swap out the turn signal lever?

I forgot you could select 1st gear on '93 Z28s, they did away with that for 'noise pollution' reasons. I don't remember the details of that... (which years have 1st selectable and what years don't).

Interesting mods, but I think you have to get all of the yellow out of there or leave it all yellow.

Im working on it, I only buy parts that are deals, so its taking me a while to piece it all together.

Found an overlay for the shifter, ordered it today

Let me know if you actually get it. I placed an order with him once. Never answered emails, he did call, but what he said ended up being a lie. After a few months I just told him to cancel the order.

Well thats just great. I was told they would send me an email with the tracking number when the order ships. I still havent gotten that email. If push comes to shove I will just call the bank and have them deal with it.

Has the money come out of your account yet? I had put my debit/bank/credit card as a method of payment, but money never came out. It was like some orders I have placed on other sites, where it doesn't come out until they ship it.

Yup, money has been taken out but no word about them shipping the thing. I sent them an email today.
