If you're not sure try a test first. Get a flat piece of sheet metal, and paint it body color. Tape of an area and spray stripe color on it. You can buy paint in small quantities. You can spray it through an airbrush, or most auto paint suply stores carry Preval sprayers. These are basically an aeresol sprayer that you put your own paint in.
The thing is...Don't be afraid to try something different. Most people thought my color combination would look hideous, but I stuck to what I thought would look good. I ended up with a purple peral '93 Z with bright purple stripes, and most people love it.

BTW, we used a 30Th anniversary stencil kit from Stencils and Stripes Unlimited for the layout.

car looks good man. i work at a body shop so paint isnt a proublem i also have a harwood ram air hood so the dual strips wouldnt really work i think i may just end up with doin ghost flames ... duno yet too hard to decide lol
