StreetGlow L.E.D. license plate frame?
I was looking through the products book that came with my underbody neon kit, and noticed that StreetGlow has a new L.E.D. license plate frame where you can program anything you want it to say from the interior of your car. Anyone know where I can get one of these? I checked streetglow.com and couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe its not out yet. Looks pretty cool though.

I do not think it is out yet. I would like to get one though they look cool. Also do you have any pics of your neon setup? I wanted to go with a red setup but I decided to go with a green UB and neo-blue license plate frame.

I'll post some pics as soon as possible. For some reason I am able to turn on the under body neons during the day, but not at night. When I first installed them they worked fine at night. I don't know whats up with it, but as soon as I fix the problem I'll post. What color is your car? Mine is black, and with red neons it looks

Mine is white with a black top. What sucks is when I got my UB in two of the tubes were broken. So I had to send the whole thing back and I have not got it back yet. But once I get my UB back I will install both the UB and plate frame at the same time. BTW how much did you pay for your license plate frame and UB?

Street Glow never made the license plate frame because it would cost too much. Each little LED would be 3 bucks, and with as many as they need to display messages....well, I wouldn't pay for one, as cool as they look.
Unless SG changed their procedure, you should only have had to send back the tubes that didn't work.....

I bought my license plate frame back in 2001 at a place called Trailblazers for $30 (around $15-20 on the net). I bought my underbody kit from http://www.affsave.com . They have the cheapest prices on neon kits. The cool thing is when I called to order the StreetGlow Blue Line kit, they didn't have any in stock. They gave me StreetGlow's top of the line kit instead, the Gold Series at an extremely low price of $130 shipped! The Blue Line kit is $119 shipped. I bet if you call or email affsave.com they'll do the same for you if they don't have their Blue Lines in yet. The Gold Series kit is extremely bright, and took about 2 1/2 hours for me to install it (with my car on the frame rack). Lucky for me my dad owns an auto body shop

Where did you hear that they decided not to make the frame? $200 would be my limit on it. I'll give them a call today and see whats up. (Its still being advertised in their catalogue)

I talked to a rep on their site, and he said that they aren't going to produce them afterall He said it would cost them around $250 just to make the kit, so it would retail for around $350-400! Hopefully some other company will make this license plate frame. It was supposed to have 3 modes, shadow mode (where all of the letters were off and the lights around them were on), scroll mode and standard mode. Its such a cool product, I think I would pay up to $300 for it (maybe). Wouldn't it be cool to be able to advertise your website on your license plate frame? Or tell the dude behind you how much his civic sucks? Oh well, maybe it will be produced some time in the future when the costs of production go down. BTW, have any of you that have Street Glow underbody kits experienced problems with the transformer? I've read a number of posts about the transformers being defective (mine is also). Pi$$es me off that I'll have to send the transformer back to Street Glow and probably wait 3-6 weeks for them to fix it Nothing like Chinese quality control
