spring has sprung. got my car out today for the summer

put the collision back on the insurance (i keep comp on it over the winter so i have to keep liability) and aired up the tires (they were down to 25psi) and got my car out today for the summer. it was 67 here today and felt great cruising with the t-tops off

some of the pics have a little bit of sun glare in them but they arent too bad

Lookin' good Is that the original paint?! Wish mine looked that good. Hoping for a repaint some time this year No matter how hard I try or what I do, I just can't keep the black lookin' good. Doesn't help that the original owner wasn't as **** about the paint as I am either.

its partially original.

the bumpers and gfx and headlight doors were repainted in 2005. then the front bumper got damaged by a car wash in april 2006 and was replaced. then i had a run in with a bale of hay in june 2007 and the bumper had to be replaced again luckily there was no body damage either time. then last spring i added the ram air hood and had the headlight doors repainted again at that time as well as the roof panel behind the t-tops. so the fenders, doors, rear quarters and hatch/spoiler are original.

it also helps that the car has never seen a single northern winter. it was originally a hawaii car. the original owner was military and bought it there and then brought it back to north carolina for a year or so (where it saw a single dusting of snow that melted in a few hrs) and then florida where i bought it in 2004. i then took it to AZ and later back here to indiana in 2007 but i've pulled it off the road before the snow starts both years to keep the salt away from it

sure has come a long way in the last 5 years.
