spray painting stock salad shooters
i hate my salad shooters, they're nasty all the time, stained, and the clearcoat is comming off in sheets. has anyone spray painted them a shiny black? i'm not looking for show quality, but they should look decent...

I painted mine with duplicolor wheel paint (gunmetal gray)
and they are fine just sand them smooth first then primer them, color, then clear engine paint. just make sure you take your time
they will look fine mine do
Why waist 100+ to powdercoat stock wheels
BTW mine are not salad shooters they are five spokes

I don't really know I havent personally priced them but it's up in that area maybe higher
100+ to the 15 bucks it cost me
EDIT:wait I did price it a long time ago discount quoted me 100 each wheel for my old salad shooters I was gonna do those in white but decided not to.

I think and alot of my friends think they look sweet
I think of it this way if high heat paint works fine on my calipers
why not on my wheels even if you hit a curb in powder coated wheels it's gonna chip
