spray painting stock salad shooters

i hate my salad shooters, they're nasty all the time, stained, and the clearcoat is comming off in sheets. has anyone spray painted them a shiny black? i'm not looking for show quality, but they should look decent...

if you spray them yrself it wont last, need to get them powder coated, dont know how much they would charge you though, it's the way i would go if i wanted a diffrent look to my wheels

Black High temp bbq paint works good but you won't get a high gloss shine.

I painted mine with duplicolor wheel paint (gunmetal gray)
and they are fine just sand them smooth first then primer them, color, then clear engine paint. just make sure you take your time
they will look fine mine do

Why waist 100+ to powdercoat stock wheels

BTW mine are not salad shooters they are five spokes

Do you have chrome wheels if you do I don't know about that

I think and alot of my friends think they look sweet

I think of it this way if high heat paint works fine on my calipers
why not on my wheels even if you hit a curb in powder coated wheels it's gonna chip
