Re: some little updates
Hey RiceKilr when you ran that 12sec timeslip was that on or off the spray? I am hoping once I get my cam/heads&headers done to sneak into the 12s So I was just wondering if a LS1 got down there without spray

I love the halo headlights. I plan to get a pair myself. What stripes are those on the side? They look great. The only thing I see that needs to be done is lowering the car. Great work.

12.11 @ 110 was on motor. it's actually a year and a half old ET. i should be around a 11.9-12.0 on motor the way im set up now (higher stall, dyno tune).
i have no idea what it does on the spray but i can't wait to find out.
Jpaul- those are Grand Sport style stripes. I'll pm you the place where i got them since i don't know if they are a sponsor on this board. i know the car kinda of needs to be dropped a little but my deep pan is already too low and im a little afraid to do anything to mess with the suspension given how well the car hooks up now.

Great looking car 94Z....love the stripes. I've seen a couple on this board with those and I really like them.
If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay to have something like that done to your car? I'm thinking my black '96 would look good with something like that. Thanks in advance.

those stripes are vinyl not paint. the stripes go for $30 a piece and then i spent another $25 to have a pro apply them for me (only because i tried one and managed to crease it the first time when it was ALMOST all the way on. Not wanting to bother taking the chance of screwing up another, i just let a vinyl guy do it. They only took about 20 minutes. ) Overall, even if you choose to let someone apply them for you, the whole deal should cost less than $100.
If you're interested I'll PM you the website i got the stripes from.

Re: some little updates
Those should be easy to put on, did you use soapy water?
1) wet surface
2) Peel decal and wet decal adhesive
3) apply and move into place
4) squeegy or use your hand to get water out from underneath
5) use a hairdryer to evaporate the excess water under the decal
(not neccesary but I like to do this last step just incase)
BTW you can get those from Brent the moderator of this forum

these are a bit harder to do then that if you want to get the measurements exactly right. you're supposed to do the decal half at a time while the other half is secured in place to prevent it from moving. i got to the second half and accidentally put a small but unfixable crease in it right near the end.
BTW: yes i did use soapy water. i've done decals before, i just happened to screw this one up and i didnt feel like making another $30 mistake.
