Sid trim pieces

Has anyone thought about painting the side trim prices on a 1997 body style a different color? An if so do you have pics? I was thinking about making mine black and having black racing stripes... Didn't no how that would look. And what are eeryones thoughts about racing stripes a Berger panel??

-thanks

I think it would look too cluttered. If anything I think you should just remove them but that is just my opinion.

Well what does it look like with them removed? And is it hard to get them off?

I would recommend a hair dryer to loosen up the adhesive and then some dental floss behind the trim to pull it off. You can use a heat gun but be careful you don't over heat it and bubble the paint.

I've seen the body side molding repainted black on a red car and it looked horrible. Reminded me of the body side molding on cheap cars like Toyota Corollas where they don't paint it.
