Show me your strut tower braces

Show me your strut tower braces. I'm trying to figure out what brand this blue one is. Any ideas? I've never seen one like it before, and know it's not a one-off piece.

Gee, that was an easy question to answer! Thanks!

I just looked at their site, and they don't offer one in blue. Weird. This C8 was made a long time ago, so maybe they just discontinued blue is all. Makes me wonder though. The blue one lacks logos on it too. Here's another one installed in another C8:

You'd think they'd use red on a red C8, but that also contributes to me wondering if this was originally a design by some other company in the 90s.

Here's the first thing I made for my car lol.
Torched out the 1/4" mounting plates and used some thickwall 1" tube scraps.

Yep, it's gotta be a Hotchkis. I have the same one as the first guy has in my Z.

Hotchkis never offered it in blue. Red and polished is all it ever came in. That C8 has a Hotchkis piece that has been powdercoated.

Mine looks like this:

Except without the BMR logo. I got it secondhand and have no idea which brand it is.

JakeRobb - Looks like the UMI one I have on my car. Doesn't look fancy but for half the price of Hotchkis you can't beat it.

I found a picture of a UMI one, and the tubing curves differently. Mine looks more like the BMR.

Here is a UMI brace:

The BMR brace looks to be a thicker tubing.

Thanks! It's not quite as clean right now, but it will be again when car show season starts up.

I never understood why anyone would design a brace with pivots at each end. It MUST compromise the stiffness of the piece. Probably heavier than a BMR type one piece brace too.
