replacement headlight bulbs? which are the best?
Ok my girlfriend has a new ford focus , and the headlights are those blue lights and they are bright as hell at night, I love them, I was wondering what are the best ones to get? I see them all over ebay for like ten bucks, but that seems to good to be true since I also seen some at ls1speed.com for $80 a pair, and I was also wondering if they have them in just white? not the bue tint.

Silverstar = good stuff
I'll second the Silverstars!
I just bought a pair today and put them in. I did one side to compare stock halogen vs. Silverstars. I can honestly say the Silverstars give a very crisp and very white light. They don't give off that fake bluish color...just a pure white light.
I paid $20 per bulb at AutoZone and there is a $10 rebate on Sylvania's website. There is also a website link there that shows Silverstar side-by-side with standard halogen.
Try them out...they won't set you back too much if you don't like them and you don't have to do sealed-beam like me...I'm sure you'll like them though.

I just took a bunch of pics last night...I have a couple really cool ones of the Silverstar lows vs. the stock halogen highs.
I am very impressed with the Silverstars so far...they are NOT like the cheapo ones. My buddy bought the 9.99 ones at the local Wal-Mart and those are
I don't have a way of hosting...if someone does though, I can send the pics out.

If you go with ANY bulb with a blue tint to it WHATSOEVER, then I HIGHLY recommend getting TRUE 100w bulbs such as Nokya, Hella, Showoff. Between 4300k - 5000k will give you the best compromise between light output and color temp.
Anything over 5000k will have more of a purple hue, but you will sacrifice the output of the bulbs.
I will be running 130w bulbs with a aftermarket harness kit this season, so 100w is nothing.
EDIT: I just noticed you have a LS1. If your headlight housings are plastic then get the Krypton / Xenon gas mix bulbs... and stay around 80w

Tinted bulbs on a TRUE H.I.D. kit = BAD
