Racing Seats in my S-10
I am having a problem here, I am not sure if I can take out my old seats in my truck as well, the driver's seat is attatched to the center console, the whole piece slides, but I am unsure if it is possible to replace it with a universal racing seat? if so tell me what I need to look for in the seat such as in the way of custom sliders or anything else special I will need to do

I think out of anything I'd be most worried about trying to keep the height. Racing seats are meant to sit on the floor, and therefore you'd need something to put them up higher in a truck.

well it is an extreme sport, so, really the seats are set much like that of a firebird/camaro would be, its not rear seats, just my fron two seats, so really, the only thing I need it so know whether I need new brackets, also I have found the seats I want, would these work?

Really the only way to tell is to try and put them in. If they come with universal brackets and they suit you as far as height goes, then the most work that would be involved would maybe be drilling new holes for the brackets and sealing everything up real nice. Perhaps cutting the carpet too maybe? Not sure...

hmmmm ok, ill try, hopefully it works, as far as thyat, the next thing is taking arpart my dash to paint it, also, is the center console going to cause a problem since it is part of the driver's seat?

The centerconsole will be gone as it is part of the driver seat. I know a guy that has some off brand racing seats in his 96s10 there shouldnt be any problems. You will probably need sliders for whatever seat you choose look around and yes fbodys are not the only cars with sites! lol check out a forum for your truck and youll get all the info you need.
