Post QUESTION ABOUT Z06 RIMS AND ZO6 REPLICAS AND WHERE TO GET THEM CHEAP

I understand replicas are just ones that look like them but are the replicas worse then the actual zo6 rims? where would you get actual zo6 rims and not replicas? wheres the cheapest place to buy z06 or z06 replicas? when everyone says they have z06 rims do they really mean they have replicas or actual gm z06 rims? thanks

I suspect most have replicas as the oem units are too expensive. You can get them through Discount Tire or www.wheelreplicas.com in Katy, TX. There are other suppliers but these 2 places are the cheapest I could find. E-bay is also a source. I got mine through Discount Tire for $275/ea (chrome). Expect to drill the small lip out of the centers in order for them to fit the rear hub. Hope this helps!

Anyway you can see some pics of mine on my site http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/mstegall

it's more of a trimming of the excess metal in the center hole opening for the hub, u cannot see because the center cap covers it

Cool

I was told on this board that the problem with the center hub is the car and the back two seemed to be larger on my car, all four of the wheels fit on the front of the car but not on the back, but i just used a dremel and all the wheels mounted very nicely and yes mine came with center caps.

Whatever you do don't buy some from a girl named Oxana in New York. I bought a set from her off e-bay for $1,500. 4-18x9.5 Chrome Z06 rims with brand new Pirelli tires and have not heard or received anything since she said she shipped them. She was selling 3 or 4 sets of rims too. The first guy posted good feedback saying he got his rims, but I talked to the other 2 guys who won the other auctions and neither of them has received their rims. So beware this person had 100+ positive feedback and one negative. Also good feedback from someone regarding his shipment of Z06 rims. Yet I still got screwed. Oh well it has happened before to me and Im sure it will happen again. I still buy thousands of dollars of stuff off ebay and the internet. I have yet to get ripped off on cz28.com yet though *knock on wood*
