Polishing Stock Salad Shooters...

Is it possibly to strip the wheels of the paint and polish them up?? Anyone ever do it and does the aluminum react well to the polish??

I'm thinking about doing this mod too. All you have to do is get that damned coating off the rims and smooth the surface down. Then get some good polish and go to it. It can be done, but it'll take a lot of time.

The main thing then becomes keeping a good coat of wax on top of the stripped and polsihed rim. In a lot of cases its worth it.
