Question chrome 17x11 ZL1 rims w/red bowtie cap

do you think a red 1991 camaro with 17x11 ZL1s w/ red bowtie center caps would look good

It didn't cost me anything to get them powdercoated. I bought them on ebay last week, but powdercoating costs between $250-$350 per wheel.

You asked for an opinion so here is mine At first I was like no way white rims on a red car..... After looking at it a bit though (at first it seemed busy as hell) I have decided I REALLY like your car! Not my taste.... but I really like it if you want any advice I would loose the wing thing on the back window and dude you need some lowering springs like nobody I know. But seriously way to think outside the box! Now order some lowering springs

I think the 250/350 per wheel for powdercoating is wayyyyy off, i've got a guy local to me that does them for 50/75 per wheel, depending on color, and 1/2 stage pwdercoating, and they look awesome! a couple guys i know have done it, and i'm doing mine this winter.

Totally awesome car, but again lose the wing. The car looks great, so long as it isnt my car. I wouldnt want something that stands out this much.

Looks ok. I would ditch 3 things if it were my car: The million and a half stickers, the spoiler, and the altezzas. I like everything else though, especailly the whole red and white theme. (I have the same, just reversed.) Thats just my opinion though, and if you like it then more power to you. BTW, shorten your sig, thats annoying.

First of all, I have 5 decals on my car: Winshield banner, the stripes, hood scoop decal, 350 H.O. decal, and ***IT Racing decal on my rear window. The red and white theme includes the WHITE decals, so if I ditched the decals(all 5 of them) then there would be no red and WHITE theme. My car might be a little ricey with the altezzas and spoiler but I like them and that's all that matters. Compared to when my car was stock, I get at least 10 times the amount of compliments.

Love the wheels.
That is the exact color combo I would like to have on my ride.
I'm not a fan of the full body stripe package though........I like it when the stripes stop on the hood.
Your wing is too big.
All the same - you really have something to be proud of there......I'll bet it turns heads.

350 H.O......but you don't have a 350.

btw, nice wheels, i don't know when it happened but I have become a fan of white wheels. Otherwise it is waaaayyyy to busy for my taste.

Seriously, when you started modding, is this what you invisioned or are you just throwing more things at it?

This is taken from LS1.com:
"The liners are finished with a bore size of 99 millimeters (3.8976 -in.). That, with a stroke of 92 mm (3.6620-in), makes the LS1's displacement 5.665 liters or 345.69 cubic inches. Obviously, it won't fly with the Chevrolet marketing folks if, upon opening a C5's hood, people holler, "Hey, Vern! I got me one of these new, three hundert 'n' forty-six inch motors, here." so Chevy wants you to call it a "350" or a 5.7L engine."

True. Also realize that the "traditional" Small block chevy was thrown to the wind with the LS1. It's a kick *** motor for sure, but where the gen II is an evolution of the gen I, then gen III Ls1 is a totally different monster.

Aside from the huge difference in head design, the fact that it takes roller rockers traditionally used on big block chevy's says a lot....

I think the car looks really nice. It's an eye catcher, with the white and red, it looks pretty good. Drop it a little, get rid of that wing, and I'd say get rid of atleast a LITTLE of the white, I just think where it is now, though it looks nice, I think it looks like a "hot wheels" car.

And I really dont care for the altezzas...
