Talking Pics: Shiny fuel rails

was a little bored so I decided to make my fuel rails nice and purty Heres some

Before

left fuel rail after being polished with chrome polisher, right fuel rail after polisher and some Eagle One Mag/Alum. wheel cleaner

i'll get better pics tomorrow of the finished product. Im also tackle the MAF and any other things that can shine up like that. I'll get to the right at then as well

oddly, it wasnt even hard. I did it with them still on the car. As mentioned, I will get more pics and better description how to do it

Fuel rails are cake to do. Bout 15 minutes to get em nice. The rest (maf, alternator, water pump) are a PITA

That looks really good! I was gonna do the same thing and then realized that it would be a waste of time for me because I have fuel rail covers on my intake. DUH!!!

Links didn't seem to work???? Tried copy & paste also, and "couldn't find server".

Unless the rails are pitted from something like salt spray, they should clean up to a bright mirror finish with very little effort. I found the new Mother's Billet Metal Polish to be the best I've ever used. Very expensive, but excellent.

Hey Injuneer. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your rear sway bar end links from? Also, where did you get the center mounts for the sway bar from. Thanks!

That is a Spohn Performance 1-5/16" chrome moly "drag style" (not for general "street" driving) sway bar, with rod end links. The center mount u-bolts and brackets are part of the Spohn package.

That bar was the prototype install, and was done by Steve Spohn. There are quite a few install pics on this page of photos.
