Painting your stock Grille

Has anyone ever painted the plastic camaro grille on 98+ cars the same colour as the car? I'm thinking of getting a body shop to paint mine the same black as the car, pics anyone?

If it was me I'd get the SLP grill insert. It probably won't cost much more than getting the stock one painted and it'll look a whole lot better.
