Hey,

I just put new "SS" rims on my camaro, now I want to paint the calipers now that you can see them more with these type of rims. The problem is I have a Pewter Metaliic 02 Camaro and I don't know what color would look good??
I bought a "Red" paint kit becuase the "SS" rims have the red bowtie on the center caps so I figured that would look good, but after thinking about it I really don't know.

If anyone has pics of a pewter camaro with painted calipers can you PLEASE post them so I can see what they look like.

I thought black would look nice maybe silver??

PLEASE any thoughts you have on this will really help me out!

Gunmetal with black or red CAMARO lettering (your choice).

never thought of that combo sounds nice... BUT where do you get those letters or color paint? the letters would have to be REALLY durable to withstand the heat.

Pewter is a tricky color. I would normally say red no matter what, but with pewter... I would do them black. Red kind of looks odd with silver and pewter IMO.

Thanks for the help! I just emailed him. I LOVE the color and the way it looks but this time it really put me in a box. I was thinking black as well but I don't know if you would even see it through the rims with them being black.
Maybe silver??

What do you think black or silver?

actually I found a site with the camaro caliper decals for $20 shipped, so i will paint the calipers black as the decals are chrome/silver..

Brent has a color similar to pewter, so I'd do them black with pewter letters. I think it'd look the best!
