Paint My Heads To Match Intake??
Ok I painted my intake black and it turned out awesome, way better than I expected. Now I'm debating if I should paint my heads black too or leave them bare aluminum. I think I'm just going to clean them up really good and call it a day. I'm going to be painting my block black after it comes back from the machine shop and I think if I leave the heads unpainted there will be a nice contrast rather than having an all black motor.
But let me know what you think. I'm also going to clean up all of my brackets for the alternator and ac and power steering but those won't be painted either.

I personally like the look of aluminum. I painted my block and intake balck, polished the rails on the intake and lightly polished the ends of the haeds that are seen. I think it looks good this way imo

Good to hear guys, that what I'm doing then.
I cleaned my heads up a little last night and today I got some carb cleaner and more citrus clean, so they should be nice and clean tonight
I'll be sure to get some pics up tonight after there are done.

I originally painted my intake and block black but left my heads aluminum. I'd suggest staying away from a black block just because it makes it very hard to determine where leaks are. The biggest goof I made was painting my timing cover black that really makes looking for leaks a pain.
