Odd SS?

I figured that I would post this here because it is kind of a apperance question. I have a 97 SS #2777 and I have been looking around and my camaro seems to be the only one that I have seen that dose not have the mirrors and the sail pannel painted the same color as the car(my car is white and the mirrors and sail are painted black). That and the interor is cloth(did see one other SS w cloth).Just courious if anyone has ever seen or has an SS with two tone combinations, thanks!
Brian

I think I have seen t-top SS's with same color sail panels and mirrors as the car. I think It all depends on what GM sent to SLP for them to make a SS out of. I have seen SS's with cloth and no power windows too. I used to think they didn't make the SS without leather and power acc. BTW mine is red,auto,t-top,leather,power W/ black roof and mirrors.

Ok, from 93-94 Z28's came standard w/ the two tone. The car was one color and the roof/sail panel/mirrors where black. In 95 it was an option to have the roof/sail panel/mirrors the same color as the rest of the body. So it was pretty much up to who ordered the car and their tastes. As for the SS w/ cloth, a guy who hangs out w/ our club has a 2002 SS w/ no power locks/windows, cloth interior, no fog lights, no "frills". He just ordered the SLP suspension upgrade and Hurst shifter.

my car is the same. I have black mirros and black top. It's standard on Z28/SS and T-Top cars. But you can op for the monochromatic look and have the top and mirrors match the car. I believe this option is first available on 97 models.

Thanks for the replys! They probably made them this way but I just have not seen any like it around here, The other quick question I have is on the seats, did all of the 97's cloth or leather come with the 30th anniversary emblum embossed on them?

Yep, every last 1997 Camaro had the emblem sewn in the headrest.
