Not knowing when to stop customizing

Oh man, this one is yet another case of not knowing when to stop customizing. The previous case I'm referring to is that white Z28 with RKSport sportback I posted months ago. Man, this thing is so tacky that it makes me a little sick to look at.

Why do some people do it? Why do they think the original part is so inferior that it needs to be replaced with a lower quality, poorer fitting, less durable, ugly piece just to make it look custom? And why do they just keep thinking that over, and over, and over???

I feel bad for the guy. This car is just money down the drain and for God sakes... you know you've got obsessive compulsive disorder when you feel the need to replace the hood struts/telescoping rods with chrome ones...

He needed someone to nag him into not messing with every little thing "don't fix what ain't broke." This car could have been pretty neat if he didn't stick stickers all over it, make the interior all weird, and gawdy it up. :-\

I like how it has a cowl induction emblem yet it isn't a functional hood. It is overdone in my opinion, if he would tame it down some, it wouldn't be a bad looking car.

Way too overdone. I don't see why you'd even want 3 gauges on the A-pillar.

That's what happens when you can't make up your mind. It looks kind of cool like a race car with all those decorations but still?

I think the orange with white stripes would have been great, minus all of the other garbage. Let's play a game- how many ss emblems are on the car? The person who comes the closest is the champion of the world.

It'd look awesome if it just had the white stripes on the exterior and something other than those god-awful wheels. And ya know, I could even live with the wheels if it weren't for the orange center caps and fake rotors on the back. Surprisingly, under the hood is pretty nice. I'd LOVE to have that radiator cover for my 30th Z. Man that's sweet.

1997 Camaro Z28 30th Anniversary Edition w/SS Package
I think SS stands for Shitty Stickers in this case.

What's up with the rotors? They look like cardboard or something stuck to the back of the wheel. I couldn't even find the caliper.

They are covers that go inbetween the wheels and the rotor to make it look like you have much larger brakes.
