My errrr...... our new bird

Just picked her up last night and snapped a few before I go to the track today. What ya think? Any suggestions as far as body mods? Thinking about either a WS6 or Firehawk hood and some wheels. Nothing solid yet.

Re: My errrr...... our new bird

I'm pushing for a set of ZO6's 17" up front & 18" in the back. The misses likes the ones that are on it or maybe the 17" WS6 ones. We've just been kinda looking around on wheels though. Have any suggestions as far as wheel choice?

You're right on the hood, and I think we're both pretty well sold on the WS6 hood. Just kinda looks naked without it IMO.

Do you have a price limit for wheels? Z06s are ok If your on a budget, but there are plenty of nicer looking wheels out there. Whats your budget?

OUCH! I just found their site! The 505s would look sweet on there but damn, $2600. I'm not sure I could talk the misses into that. It a shame too those do look bad ***. If I had to make a budget I'd say around $1500 or $1600 for the wheels. What else ya got?

My favorite aftermarket wheels are the HP Evo and the HPR5. You can get them in 18s in your price range with tires. The 19s with tires are right around $2k.

HP Evo

HPR5

Re: My errrr...... our new bird

I have never heard of the CCW's but they do look nice are very expensive. I have Boyd Coddington's and am very pleased. However, now remerbering, I did pay a slight penny for them. But they are close to the 505 CCW and the Boyd's come in 17's too. If you look at them and like them let me know. I ordered them from a warehouse that has a contract with them and they sell them cheaper too.
