ls1 trans am - BMW "halo" headlight conversion?
i saw this guy on the street with an ls1 trans am... he had a SICK looking headlight conversion... they still folded up... but two buckets and plastic bezel were gone... instead there was i guess some kinda molded plastic/carbon fiber that matched exactly the paint color of the car with 2 (different sizes) small, round, BMW style "halo" xenon headlights which were almost flush with the front of the headlamp folding cover (only an inch of recess at the lights themselves).... looked VERY good... and expensive...
anyone know of this? where i might look into the kit? etc? or was this a custom deal?

Was it like this? This is the only decent headlight conversion I've ever seen on a 4th gen Firebird.

The one that is more common is ugly. I didn't read this topic real well since I am at school, so if you weren't talking about non-flip-ups then my mistake.
EDIT: that website doesn't allow image linking. Click each link, and add a question mark to the end of each URL and then hit enter, the pics will work. Otherwise you will just get a pink car.

I don't follow Firebirds as much as I do Camaros, so excuse me if this isn't accurate. I'm not sure if this kit was ever made, but this is the original plan for the '98 or '99 (most likely '99 despite what the file names are) Firehawk. SLP was going to convert the headlights to that type. I really love the look, it is flawless.
