lowering 3.8

i have been wanting to lower my 98. what are some good kits out there to buy. i want to save the the 'ride comfortness' if possible. i was wanting a 2" drop is that too much? it seems like a waste to lower only 1.4" and less like a lot of the kits ive seen. do i actually need lca relocator brackets, panhard rod, and other stuff. where can i buy decent products at good prices? what should the total price be around with everything i need including installation (with lca brackets and other extras if i DO need them)?

As far as the rims, I think as far as show and not strictly stripwise, go as big as you can. If you have the $$ for 20's...then go for them.

Aircop's ride I think looks amazing, I actually spoke with him months back in an email, and I think the money he put into those rims really paid off. But he of course doesn't drive it everyday.

And Whistler, I'm not sure if that is your ride that you posted a picture of. But it is GORGEOUS and truly a mouth dropper. I have always thought and dreamed of the idea of cutting the t bar off of a Camaro, just never had the funds to fuel enough desire to do it. But again...amazing ride.

I never really liked 17's although I may get them in the front if I ever get my Chrome Z06's that might...MAYBE sometime fit my budget. I just don't like the idea of getting one extra inch over stock for atleast a grand extra money.

anyone have any help for me? id like to do this soon if it doesnt turn out to be outrageously expensive. if it is super expensive the bang for the buck factor could possibly be to forget lowering and throw on some nice 18s
