How difficult to install lowering springs?
I am thinking about getting a set of lowering springs for my '98 SS. I will either get RKsport(1.5" drop) or BMR(1" drop). How hard/easy are they to install. Would you recommend doing it myself or taking it somewhere to get installed? I am pretty handy with my car. I installed my LM exhaust, air lid, CAI, MAF ends, and underdrive pulleys myself.
Thanks

Hey bud! You can def. do the backs in no more than an hour...Jack up the car, support and frame and have a jack underneath the rear end. Then lower the jack and watch the brake lines...lower it as much as ya can. Then pop the old springs out and install the new ones.
As for the fronts...they are doable and I did them myself (getting them out and then back in) but I did take it to Cole to have them compress the springs onto the shock since it's very danergous (they charged me $20 to do it). Not bad overall, although the fronts are kinda tricky. Just make sure ya have a friend handy and you'll be ok!!
