Re: hid ligths

I believe that you want 9007 bulbs. 10k is wayy too blue for me. 8k is still a bit on the blue side, but it still looks nice. I have 6k in the DD and a friend of mine has 5k in his truck. I like the 5k better because they a brighter. The bluer you go the dimmer they will get. Not necessarily enough to make a difference unless your goal is to have the brightest lights.

Re: hid ligths

Go to this website to determine what bulb you need...

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...lacementGuide/

As far as color there are plenty of websites out there to show what they are. 10k is going to be almost purple- anything above 6k is blue, even 5k has blue tint to it.

Won't work on 93-97 unless you've modified the lights. 93-97's have Sealed Beams.

or if you have the eurolights housing,

BTW the lights plug right in, just silicone them to the stock housing no big deal...https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=761995

Please god don't go with 10000k HID's. If you want blueish 8000k is plenty. Heck even the 55w 6000k are slightly blue.

Re: hid ligths

Don't go sticking HID bulbs in halogen housings. The beam pattern will be crap, the cutoff will be non-existent, and you'll cause massive glare for other drivers. Plus anything blue or purple looks so unbelievably cheap and/or ghetto.
