Post HELP! Does 93 TRANS AM "Raised Spoiler"(Wing)fits in place of a 93 Formula flushed 1

Guys I need to know if a 1993 Raised spoiler (wing) will fit in place of a 1993 Firebird Formula flushed wing and if the flushed wing can be removed? Urgent

Please assist us;

We need to know if 4th Gen Trans-Am (Raised ) Spoiler/Wing will fit a 4th Gen Firebird Formula. I have no personal experience with "Formula" models, and am quite unsure if the "flushed" spoiler is even removable.

I have personally seen Formula's with Trans-Am "raised" spoilers out here, but I am unsure if they had to change out the whole hatch as one piece.

Basically, we need to know if is removable and if the stock screw "holes" are in the same location as a T/A.

Thanks for your help.

You have to change the hatch itself too .... they are both totally different between the Formula style and T/A Style

Call a GM dealer and see if the hatch part numbers are the same. If you have until Monday I could probably look it up then. Of course, since I smoke a bale of pot on the way to work I'll probably forget.

You must switch the complete hatch out. I've already looked into it before. I may be wrong but every place I asked gave me that answer.

Yep, the whole hatch needs to be replaced. You could probably find a good conditioned T/A hatch from a junkyard or someone on the board that is parting out a T/A. IMO the formula hatch is nicer and isn't as batman style. :P

You have to replace the glass and everything just like these cats said. DON'T go to the dealer for one. Too much $$$$$$
