i just did the ls1 front end conversion but the hood dosent fit do any of yall know if i need a differnt bracket that bolts on to the hood ???

Are you trying to put an LT1 style hood on a car that has an LS1 style front bumper? If so, clearly you will be having problems. In order for everything to match up you will need an LS1 front bumper, LS1 hood, and probably even LS1 front fenders as well. None of these will line up well if you are interchanging only some of them. As far as I know, you need to have all of them LS1 style, or all of them LT1 style, NOT some of each.

I had the same problem with my Harwood hood when I put it on.All I did was elongate the holes a little and it lined up really well.
