Headlights for 96 Z28

My 1996 Z28 seems to be burning out headlights. In the 2 years I've owned the car, I've replaced the headlight(s) at least 5 times. There seems to be no pattern to how they burn out. Either left side or right side, it dosen't matter, they just don't seem to last.
At $24 each for Sylvania sealed beam headlights, this is becoming an expensive issue.
Does anyone have a suggestion or know of an upgrade I can swap in? I'd love to upgrade to the newer style headlights for better vision at night.

Rapid burnout is usually caused by bad grounds or connector corrosion. If you don't fix the problem your "NEW" light may burn out just as fast.

Our '95 seems to go through lights particularly fast, one side more than the other. I can't remember which side though or how many lights I've purchased over the years. Definitely give my headlight topic posted above a try, it's a much cheaper replacement method.

Guess I'm lucky... My 93Z has only had a highbeam go out, since 1999...

Had a similar issue with mine, but some dielectric grease it there, solved.
