Question Headlights

Well I'm going to need to buy new headlights soon because one of them is out and I was thinking about how I can make them brighter than the stock look without modification, and without a high price. I have a 94Z, so all of the lights I have been able to find are of course just the actual stock looking, not so bright, headlights. Can I just pop the bulb out of the housing and put in a brighter one? What are some good ones that I can just pick up from a part store and which sizes should I use for low and high beams?

Your right the 9006 are low beams, 9005's are the high beams. I used (4) 9005's on mine. You have to cut on the electrcal connector a little on the low beams to get the 9005s in but once you do it is a night and day difference (no pun intended). Basically I just adjusted my low beams toward the ground a little so everyone doesn't flash me, and them when I turn on the high beams....WOW

I have Silverstars right now. They are OK...they dissipitate (sp) a little though. I have some Nokya arctic whites waiting to go in but I might try the Piaa Super Plasma. My GF has these and they are nice.

If your bulb has any type of tint to it, I recommend a TRUE 100w bulb, like a Nokya 9005 or Krypton Showoff. Make sure not to touch the bulbs as you re-silicone them in.

I used the PIAA plantium Hyperwhite bulbs and they are nice. Cost about $60 bucks a pair though.
