headlight question

yea i was wondering if there was a way to install 98-02 camaro headlights on a 96 camaro w/o changing the entire front clip

some people have done it, but it will never look quite right, and its a lot more work than just changing the front clip. just keep the old one. it looks better anyway

yea i just wish there were halo headlights for the 96

Check out this thread "98+ headlights into lt1 thread" to see what it looks like there's a guy who did it and a couple pics were put up on photobucket. It looks pretty nice to me, I'm actually planning on doing this after I get done modifying some other stuff I'll keep that thread updated with the progress.

ive definitely seen them. might have been one-off custom jobs. it would be a lot easier to take the headlight housings from a 93-97, and fit projectors with halos inside them, rather than swap in the newer style head lights. and if you do that, you might as well get a clear cover to get the headlights looking flush with the body, and you have a nissan 300zx looking front end thats what it looks like to me anyway
