Harwood cowl induction hood
Does anyone have any pics of their car with a Harwood cowl induction hood on it. I found the hood in summit and I want to see it on a car before I buy it.

Hey, formula383 that hood looks really good. I have been wanting to find a good pic of it for a while I just never went looking.
I think it is kind of cool what you did with the back of your car. I thought I was the only one with a black panel and those taillights. I just painted mine black around the edges to cover up the white silicone holding them together and it really ties them into the black panel. I just thought I would share.
If you are curious, shoot me an email. I should have some pics of it I can send you.

JWBerk94Z, how did you go about painting the lights, did you take them apart or just mask off and paint them? I had considered doing that but didn't know for sure which way would be the best way to go.
Please send the pics to bobbyca@bellsouth.net

Hey Formula383, I haven't forgot about you.
I had plans on cleaning the car up and taking some pictures last weekend. Well, between the crappy weather we have been having and me getting sick, I still haven't taken any. I will email some of the taillights to you as soon as I take them.
To answer your question, I painted the outside. I just masked off the "bubble" part and had the outside edges and between the "bubbles" painted. I originally did this because the taillights were mildewing in the outside corners. It was on the backside of the light, but where the edges are clear you could see it. After they were done, I was so pleased. Not only did it hide the mildew spots, but it looked 10 times better than I had imagined.
Did I see you are from Pikeville, KY? What track do you usually go to? I have a friend who does a little racing at Owingsville. I think that might be close to you?

Yeah I am from Pikeville, KY. I usually race at the Mountain Parkway Motorplex in Clay City, KY.
Pikeville, KY is the most eastern part of Kentucky, I am about 30 minutes from Williamson, WV, I'm sure you know where that is.
No rush on the pics just whenever you get them take send them my way.
