I was thinking of ways and colors to paint some dash pieces for my 99 with black and tan interior when I thought of then found these..

Scroll down a bit to the glossy black dash pieces on this 35th SS, does anyone know how to paint it like this? Or is there a site where I can buy pieces like this?

I searched the net for this but came up with nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unless I'm mistaken, you used to be able to buy carbon fiber looking ones from the GM accessories site. I tried finding a site that still had stuff that old available but had no luck.

All you have to do is take a da and lightly sand them down..

Than take them to your local painter and have them prime and shoot them the color you want...then have them polish them up like a typical paintjob...Thats how we used to do them.. Dont mess with spray cans...
