Gauge Needles
Hey fellows
I just had a question about about an appearance mod that im wanting to do. I have a 94 Z and was wanting to replace the needles in the instrument cluster with different colored ones from 6le. i was wanting to replace them myself but i was needing to know if there was a special procedure to reinstall the needles correctly.
Any help on this will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Gauge Needles
I did this a few years ago. What I did was run the car up to operating temp and take a pic of all the needles. This way you can get them in the same place they were at to begin with. The only thing I did not set to we're it was originally was the gas gauge.Mine was off from the time I bought the car.I ran it completely out of gas, then put 2 gallons in and set the needle to the empty mark. That way I knew how far I could go till I was really out.

Re: Gauge Needles
I used my stock needles and sanded of the color on the back. The I used cobalt blue paint on the back of them with some white luminescent paint over the blue so they would glow when the dash lights were on.
When I did mine there was no kit available for this,I had to wing it
