Fixing Cosmetic Issues, Bumper & Dash

I just got my new 99 Z28 but it has a few cosmetic issues I need to fix. Any idea how much it would cost to fix a broken dash (Cracked :/) and a Crack in the front fender. Thanks for any help you guys can offer. -Mike

I don't know what you could do... but I'm interested in subscribing to this thread so I can see if anyone has an answer, so I had to post.

Re: Fixing Cosmetic Issues, Bumper & Dash

for the dash, you've got two decent options: buy a new one for about 150 dollars or so and it will crack again in a few years or take your car to an upholstery shop and pay them to cover it in vinyl. Vinyl will last a lot longer than the plastic dash because it doesn't crack when it flexes. If you've got a little skill yourself, you can pull the dash out yourself and fiberglass on the back side of the crack and then cover it in vinyl yourself. check my cardomain page for an example (93 3.4 camaro) and then also check out this thread...

I first post on page 3, post number 45. There's a fairly good amount of information there that should help you out. Depending on the vinyl you buy, you can easily do this job for under 80 bucks or so.
